Best game ever created...FUN FOR HOURS!

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

You are Carl Johnson returning to San Andreas where your mom has just died. You come back to Grove Street to reunite with your fellow brothers. Gangs, organized crime, and twisted cops are only a few of the things that you run into to figure out just who killed your mom at the end. San Andreas has play value for many many hours and to complete 100% of the game is the ultimate goal. This game has play value everytime it is put into my system and everytime is just as fun as the first.

This game is great because it gives you great amout of freedom. You can steal cars, weapons, and beat up preaty much anyone you want. The only thing is that you have to follow the plot to unluck the cool stuff. besides that this game is awsome. I can't wait for what rockstar will think of next.

Well...san andreas, the 5th title the rockstar in the GTA series, and as usual its a bloody mess where you roam around and kill innocent bystanders...what more could one want? ha, takes place on grove street, you are carl johnson, or CJ as they call you, you go around doing missions for random and quite interesting people, you can declare gang wars and as usuall theres a dictionary of cheats for it, ha...its definetly the climax of the series so far, you can fully customize carl with pants, shirts, hats, bandanas, shoes, watches, and bling...you can take him to the gym to get those washboard abs or steal biceps, its a lot of tun, you really get wraped up in it, + you get to burn weed with a flame thrower and shoot a helicopter down, being a stoner i was pretty excited =]. absolute necessity for the GTA series

This GTA is fantastic. Exploring its huge world is worth the price of admission. The story line is basic but the options to mix and match are extremely deep.

Finnaly, under your own freewill you can get your own clothes and look the way you want. You can workout, become fat if you eat too much and much more. What I love most about San andres is the story line, and how easy it is to follow it. Rockstar has never let me down and I hope they will never. The feeling of san andreas has a....crusty feeling to it for some reason...probably because it takes place in the desert area instead of an beach island like vice city. All and all, a pretty good game and I would recommend it for everyone.

In my opinion San andreas should have been rated as the best game of all. But there is no best game of all. The game is very amazing with how you can customize cars and how many diffrent weopons you have to chose from. Some weopons are uzi, pistol, desert eagle, mp5, m16, ak-47, smoke grenades and even a heat seeking rocket launcher.But there are still way more to find. A new addition to the series is the customization of cars which you can only do with a certain number of cars and now you can finally do drivebys. There are also many new vehicles like the rhino. its not new but it has a whole new look and actually looks like a real tank. Also the hydra which is a military fighter plane which goes very high and very fast. One of my favorite additions is the parachute, which you can choose to open it or just kill yourself. And finally the moment everyone has been waiting for YOU CAN FINALLY SWIM! so if you dont have a parachute just jump in the water. Also if you like to customize your guy there are plenty of clothing shops for you to get new looks from. You can also get a jetpack which is very useful in some cases like getting on the top of a brigde when you are to lazy to find a car. Now you can also ride bmx bikes and mountain bikes which are very fun to ride.So if you want a very good game get GTA San Andreas!

Well I have to say, out of all the gta series, this one has to be the best so far. This game gives you complete freedom, from what you wear to how much you weigh. You have complete control. Its not one of those Sims games(even though sims is pretty good) you can play thorugh a epic storyline with the main character Cj(aka Carl Johnson) and explore the world of San Andreas. The release of Grand Theft Auto 3 was a defining moment in the evolution of videogames. A 3D adaptation of a previously little-known 2D series, it began getting incredible reviews from the moment it hit critics' hands. Word of mouth spread like wildfire, and soon everyone, both in and out of the videogame industry, was talking about it. Within months of its release, it sold more than a million copies, but it would not stop there; GTA3 ended up as the best selling console game ever released, with well over 24 million units sold internationally.

GTA3 did more than just break sales records, though; it changed the landscape of videogames. Its adult-oriented subject matter utterly shattered whatever notion remained that videogames were still ‘kids' stuff,' and the controversy it brought actually led to stricter laws regarding the sales of videogames to minors. Its violent travails became a target for politicians and a magnet for publicity, and in the process, it achieved cultural icon status. Within the games industry itself, it brought change to the methods behind videogame creation, as its success with a completely open-ended game world and play style led to more developers trying to give gamers freedom in how they experience their titles. Rockstar Games released a quick follow-up, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, a year later, and that game garnered similar critical praise and brisk sales. Alright, this game is awesome, I've been playing this game for a long time now, and I found some awesome cheats. Try playing this game for a while, you'll love it, trust me.Here are some cheat codes that really saved my ass in periods of time:

Weapons set 1:

R1 R2 L1 R2 left down right up left down right up

Weapons set 2:

R1 R2 L1 R2 left down right up left down down left

Weapons set 3:

R1 R2 L1 R2 left down right up left down down down

Jetpack:

Lock wanted level:

That one is my favorite. Be careful though, it'll lock the wanted level on whatever your on. Say if you have 3 stars, will lock it on three stars. But if you lock it on 0 stars, you can go up to a cop, hit him, take his bike, take his car, anything really, and you will not get in trouble with any law enforcement. Here is the best part, you can go into any city without getting stars. I personally reccomend using my jetpack cheat to get over the barriers, but hey, do whatever the hell you want.

This games ok for about a month. Then it starts to get kinda boring. All your doing is the same thing over and over. The human graphics SUCK. Over all it's a good game if you like doing the same thing over and over. Other than that it's a waste of time and $$$...

San Andreas

So this game is a little long, if you dont play games for like 8 hours a day. San Andreas has an awesome story line and a lot of shooting all of the missions have shooting as the main idea. If you have not played this game yet you need to its one of the best. Its easy to you dont have to be a super gamer just to play the game.

Well first off the map is HUGE!!! It would take you at least 15 minutes if not longer to drive in around the outskirts of san andreas. The radio stations are even better than vice city.You get to customize your clothes, the car you drive , and the way your hair looks even the amount of fat on your body. You can eat on the game. There are a few acarde mini games , theres a game like asteriods you can play. You can play a game of pool if you want. All of those are located in various bars and clubs throughout san andreas. The best thing of all is two player free roam. The only thing i didnt like about two player free roam is that you cannot go very far from each other on the game. Its about 20 feet or so before you have to move closer to the other player to walk farther. I havent tested out any other things on multiplayer yet. So i dont know what other disadvantages there is to playing two player. The missions are way too easy but it makes up for it with over 130 missions. The average to complete the game is 50 hours. That is not counting collecting horse shoes , oysters or any other side missions. Overall i give this game a 9.5/10. Theres nearly no reason to not own this game.

I'm not going to beat around the bush. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the single best PlayStation 2 title I have ever played. It's larger than the biggest RPG, has more story than the heftiest adventure game, and has almost as many mini-games as Nintendo's Mario Party. Additionally, it has a production value that's second to none, boasts a faithfulness to '90s source material with an eerie accuracy, and provides more hours of entertainment than all the previous Grand Theft Autos combined. In short, it's a terrific unending masterpiece of a game -- and one that will never fall victim to an over-exaggeration of its lofty status. It's the defining piece of software for Sony's successful sophomore system, and it's almost impossible to imagine a PlayStation 2 library without it.

Now I realize that with a statement like that, I leave a lot of expectations on the table. Immediate questions from longtime GTA players (and haters) will no doubt surface regarding what kind of problems San Andreas must have. Does the framerate still stutter? Is pop-in and draw distance still an issue? Are there any collision quandaries or other graphics-related bugs? Are the sound effects still tame by other action game standards? Does the AI ever have stupid moments or not perform the way you'd want it to? And is it true that there's absolutely no form of online play whatsoever? To be honest, the answer to all those questions is a definite yes. But an even better question to ask (and one that has a lot more direct impact) is, "Do any of the issues explored above really detract from the overall experience?" In a word: No.

But how is that possible? Isn't that a significant number of concerns for one game to handle? Sure it may sound like the case when clumped together like that, but in practice it's almost completely unnoticeable. For starters, the frequencies at which the graphical hitches mentioned above appear in comparison to when they don't is so lopsided, that I'm left unaffected. Additionally, there's literally so much to experience in the single player game that the lack of online play isn't missed in the least, while the minor sound effect kinks and other presentational issues get completely dwarfed by everything else that the game manages to do right.

The big curiosity, of course, is just what is it that San Andreas does so right in the first place? After all, IGN and every other videogame publication on the planet have been sworn to secrecy since first getting our hands on the game late last week. And while it's true that we've told you all about the different kinds of features that Rockstar had plans to implement by release day, nobody's talked about how those features actually felt. Even more importantly, though, no one has mentioned the number one reason that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is so amazing to begin with: it's the first game I can ever remember that asks its players to wonder "What can't you do" as opposed to "What can you?"

You are Carl Johnson returning to San Andreas where your mom has just died. You come back to Grove Street to reunite with your fellow brothers. Gangs, organized crime, and twisted cops are only a few of the things that you run into to figure out just who killed your mom at the end. San Andreas has play value for many many hours and to complete 100% of the game is the ultimate goal. This game has play value everytime it is put into my system and everytime is just as fun as the first.This game is great because it gives you great amout of freedom. You can steal cars, weapons, and beat up preaty much anyone you want. The only thing is that you have to follow the plot to unluck the cool stuff. besides that this game is awsome. I can't wait for what rockstar will think of next. My favorite cheat is, triangle(2) square, circle, x, L1(2), up, down. This cheat is for a military jet that acts as a helicopter, but if you push the right analog stick up the jet will act as a very fast airplane. It can get you from the bottom of Los Santos to the top of San Feirro in just over 30 seconds.

A great game that lets you play as Calvin 'CJ' Johnson and takes you through a series of missions from spray painting some gang turf to breaking into area 57 and stealing a jetpack. After you beat all the missions the game will start to bore you. The 2 player mode is pretty lame and the graphics aren't too good either.

This game is alright. I dont really like it becuz of the way you die all the time...always on your back. And the racing missions....some of them give you a car to race with and those cars suck! And you always see the same people walking,driving,eat,running,at the beach, you get the point. I like this game but i lost interest in it and i wanna play games that keep me interested. i give it a 3.5

This game is really cool and fun to play cause there is a lot of stuff to do in it like shoot people, Run Over people, Have a war with a gang, And shoot at the cops. But there are some things that are dumb about like the cops look the same theres about only like 4 different cops that have different faces and the gang members always come back to life and look the same again thats whats wrong about the game mostly. But other than that its really cool.

Grand theft auto was a fun game. The only problem was that flying the planes was a pane. Especicially on the plane mission.You have to get your licence and buy an airport to do that you have to get at least a silver on every run.(be better to get gold because i think you earn more money at the end of the mission.)I think the hardest plane to fly is the hydra because its so long and you have to keep it steady.The helicopter is easy to fly bacause yoe stay steady the whole time and it is pretty fast. But over all it was worth the buy.
