Made A Bad Purchase?
We allow you to trade those games you bought on impulse that didn't turn out how you hoped. Simply Swap it with another member to get the Purchase Points you need to get the game that you do want and will play.

How does Swapping work?
First sign up for a FREE account and create your profile. List the games that you have and the games that you want. Our system automatically notifies you when a game is being shipped to you or when you are being requested to send out a game to another user.

How Does The Free Trade Work?
When you sign up for your free account, your first trade is on us! We load up your account with 20 FREE Purchase Points ( a $20.00 value) that allows you to get your first game without having to send one out first.

How do I know that I will get my game(s)?
Most of our members are reliable and dependable. We are confident that you will receive your game, but in the rare case your game doesn’t arrive, we will fully credit your account, subject to our Terms Of Use provisions.

What Happens if I don't receive my game(s)?
Of course, we guarantee member satisfaction. If your game does not arrive, we will fully credit your account subject to our Terms Of Use provisions. We will also review the reasons with the sending member, who may be subject to Negative User Rating Feedback and other measures including suspension from this site. If you don’t receive your game by the due date shown, please contact Customer Care to request your Trading Token and Purchase Points back.

How Do You Determine The Purchase Points Value of The Games?
We set our game Purchase Points values based on a number of factors such as availability, retail cost, and market value. Our games currently are valued at 10, 20 or 30 Purchase Points.

What are Trading Tokens?
Trading Tokens are purchased by users who are requesting games from other members. 1 trading token is used for every game you receive in the system.

What are Purchase Points?
Purchase Points are the virtual currency you use to purchase games. Games are divided into 3 values: 10, 20 or 30 Purchase Points. The higher the value of the game, the more Purchase Points it is worth.

Are Purchase Points Refundable?
No. The only way to receive value from Purchase Points is to use them to acquire games in the system.

Why am I not Recieving My Games/ Why Can I Not Trade?
There could be several reasons for not receieving any games.
Not enough Purchase Points - Remember to always have enough Purchase Points to facilitate any transaction you wish to engage in. The system will prompt you to make additional purchases if needed.
Not enough Trading Tokens - Remember to purchase Trading Tokens if you wish to receive games. The system will prompt you to make purchases if needed.
If you have enough Purchase Points and Tokens, and still have not received your game, please Contact Us. -
Is there a max SwapScore?
There is no maximum SwapScore. There is a monthly maximum of 5 points each for qualifying Hints and Reviews that count towards your SwapScore.

What is a Direct Trade
The Direct Trade feature allows members to request a trade (either from or to) a specific other member.
There is a qualfication requirement of a net of 1 positve feedback from games mailed by you to other members. If you do not meet the qualification requirement you will be unable to particpate in a Direct Trade, unless it is specifically allowed by a member that is qualified, and with whom you want to enter into a Direct Trade.
There is no system requirement that there be a two way trade. All Token and Purchase Point requirements must be met.
If a Direct Trade is made based upon a two way agreement and one of the members fails to mail their game, the defaulting member is subject to immediate suspension from this site.
You can find other members who have or want your game by clicking on the magnifying glass in your "Have", "Want" list. A Direct Trade must be accepted before it will activate.
Shipping

How long will it take to get my game?
We can not determine how long it will take for your game to arrive. All games are sent via standard postal services. We encourage all our members to send the games as soon as possible and may take corrective action with those who take too much time. If your game hasn't arrived after 2 weeks, contact the Customer Care department immediately so we can contact the shipping member to determine the cause of the delay.

What happens if my game is lost in the mail?
Although it is not likely, it is possible for your package to be lost in the mail. In the case where we can not track or locate the package, your account will be credited back accordingly.

Who do I contact if my game is lost or damaged?
If the game is lost, start by contacting the mailing service with the information provided to you. If you do not have this information, or if the game has arrived broken or damaged, Contact Us immediately.

I received the wrong game. What do I do?
Contact US. We will make sure the situation is remedied by having the shipping user send you the proper game or refunding your account.

What If My Address is Correct?
If you have used an address that can not be verified with the post office, you will be unable to make game shipments. If you believe that your address is entered correctly "contact us" for assistance.

How Many Games Can I Mail?
If you have mailed games before and have had at least one positive feedback, you will have unlimited mailing rights (provided you are not otherwise restricted). If you have not had at least 1 positive feedback you will be limited to a maximum of 3 games that you can ship. If you have some reason for requesting an over ride of this restriction please "contact us".

What if I¹m sending/receiving a PC game which requires a CD-Key?
SaySwap requires users to provide CD-Keys along with the original copy of the game when necessary. If the sender fails to provide a CD-Key, users can use the messages boards to resolve any issues. Any user who sends a PC game without the necessary CD-Key, runs the risk of receiving negative feedback for the game trade.

How do I enter or edit my Credit Card Infomation?
Simply visit our Account Information section to setup or edit your credit card information. Simply select your type of card, enter its number and expiry date and security code along with your personal info, click continue and you are good to go. Prior to clicking continue, you must ensure your personal and credit card information is correct and that you agree to our Terms Of Use.

What forms of Payment do you Accept?
We will accept all major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover) as well as registered PayPal accounts. We will also accept checks or money orders. See Payment by Check.

Who is responsible for Shipping and Postage?
We cover the postage costs for all shipments within the USA. Shipments to Canada from the USA and Canadian users will need to pay the appropriate postage and customs paperwork to the envelope prior to mailing. Please note that if you agree to send a game which comes with extra accessories, you will need to use your own packaging and pay for the shipping yourself. Once you receive positive feedback for the trade, we can reimburse you with a free Trading Token if the extra postage and packaging you incurred cost more than $5.

When Do You Charge My Credit Card/PayPal Account?
We will immediately charge your credit card/PayPal account upon proceeding with your transaction. This speeds up the process so our members can get games as soon as possible.

What Measures do you use to make sure my Credit Card Information is Secure?

How do I get a copy of my bill?
Simply consult your account information. This will have a detailed history of all your transactions as well as your approprate balances. All information is readily available for print.

Can I pay with Cash, Check Or Money Order?
Yes.

Be sure to include your name, address, Swap account e-mail and user name, so we can credit the correct account. Also please send a message from Contact Us that you have mailed in a check. Account Management

How do I cancel my Account?
You can cancel your account from the Edit My Profile page. Cancellation is effective immediately and by canceling your account you will not receive a refund on your Purchase Points or Tokens. You will also still be responsible for any outstanding payments and shipments. Please take any games off the trading block if you wish not to trade anymore.

What Happens if I don't use my account for an extended period of time?
The account will remain active, but the games on your list may need to be updated.

If I have cancelled my Account can I re-activate it?
Yes! Simply Contact Us so we can get your account activated immediately.

I forgot My Password. What do I do now?
Simply click on "Forgot Password" on the login page and follow the steps required. Your account password will be sent to your registered email.

Can I have more then one Account?
We do not allow more than one account per user. Remember, each account will require, a different set of games, a different user name, e-mail, credit card and home address to qualify for the 50% 1st Trading Token and 20 Free Purchase Points. We reserve the right to suspend any member for a violation of this requirement.

How do I keep My Password protected?
We recommend that the credit card holder maintain the safety of their account by providing a secure e-mail address and password. In order to prevent unwanted game transactions, please do not provide your password to any one else. We are a very secure site, therefore all transactions should be safe.

How Do I Edit My Personal Information?
In your account box (top left hand corner of the site), click "Edit My Profile". Feel free to update or change existing user information.

How Can I Change My Mailing Information?
This can be done in your "Edit My Profile" page.

Can I change My Email Address On My Account?
Yes. Please go to your "My Profile" page and click on "Edit My Profile", and then update your information. The system will send an e-mail to you requesting a reactivation. If you reactivate then your new e-mail will become effective.

Can I verify my account with a Check or Money Order
Yes. If you do not have a valid credit card of PayPal account, you can send us a Check, or money order. We will adjust your account for your purchase and also verify your account so you can send and receive games.
